The Project Management Office (PMO) Director is responsible for structuring, steering, and optimizing all of the organization's project management practices. He or she ensures consistency in methods, prioritization of the project portfolio, performance of the project management team, and delivery of projects in line with cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives. This role is part of the executive committee and acts as a central point of contact between management, operational teams, sales, and other key functions within the company.
Primary responsibilities:
PMO governance and structure
- Implement, maintain, and develop the project management framework (methodology, processes, tools, and standards)
- Define roles, responsibilities, and performance indicators related to project management.
- Ensure that projects are aligned with business strategy and organizational priorities.
- Oversee the prioritization, arbitration, and monitoring of the project portfolio.
Project portfolio management
- Ensure a consolidated view of all projects (costs, capacities, risks, budgets, and schedules).
- Identify cross-cutting issues, dependencies, and major risks.
- Recommend corrective actions or trade-offs to management.
- Participate in project reviews, post-mortems, and continuous improvement exercises.
Supervision of project managers
- Supervise, support, evaluate, and develop the team of project managers.
- Ensure the quality of planning, budget monitoring, and schedule control.
- Standardize monitoring practices (progress reports, indicators, project reviews).
- Act as a coach and reference in complex project management.
Financial and operational performance
- Monitor project budgets, margins, and variances.
- Review and approve supplier invoices and payment requests related to ongoing projects.
- Contribute to improving project profitability and reducing operational risks.
- Participate in improving the bidding, sales-to-operations transfer, and project kickoff processes.

Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, administration, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in project management, including experience in a leadership or PMO role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, custom manufacturing, or complex projects (a major asset).

The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for the company's revenue growth and commercial profitability. Leading a team of sales representatives, he or she defines territories, sets quotas, and ensures that marketing strategies generate qualified sales opportunities (leads). He or she has full responsibility for the Sales & Marketing budget and must optimize customer acquisition costs in relation to manufacturing margins. He or she will be a member of the executive committee.
Primary responsibilities
Supervision
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of representatives (internal and external).
- Establish and manage performance-based compensation plans.
- Support representatives during strategic negotiations or presentations to major clients.
